Babysitting course for 11 to 15 year-olds

This babysitting course enables young people to acquire the knowledge to become competent babysitters and learn to look after themselves at home. Participants will learn basic first aid techniques and the skills needed to care for children younger than themselves.

Description – Virtual or face-to-face course content

How to recognize and prevent dangerous situations, make informed choices and promote safe behavior
Basic first aid: calling 911, choking, asthma (how to use an inhaler); severe allergies (how to use an auto-injector); poisoning; minor cuts, scrapes, nosebleeds, severe bleeding, burns, etc.
